A Heart For Serving

Going to serve the world in the love of Jesus Christ is integral to the vision of College Avenue. We celebrate the many ways our congregation engages in Muncie, Indiana, across the country, and around the world.

Our intention is to have a physical presence in all of the local ministries we support and build relationships. Although Covid prevented us from being able to volunteer at our local ministries, our financial support is needed more than ever.

Faith Promise is our annual financial commitment to God’s mission in our community and world. Last year we raised more than $17,000, which was shared between the following ministries:

A Better Way

Africa University

Christian Ministries

Covenant Partners

Habitat for Humanity

Mission Guatemala

Red Bird Mission

Easter and Thanksgiving offerings this year will be earmarked for these six United Methodist Special Sundays:

Human Relations Day

One Great Hour of Sharing

Native American Ministries Sunday

Peace with Justice Sunday

World Communion Sunday

United Methodist Student Day

Is there a particular issue or piece of legislation that you believe is essential to the justice and love of Jesus we’re called to embody? The best way to make your voice heard is by phone (not by email or social media). We recommend contacting the local offices of our elected officials:
