Lamplighters Class

We seek to learn how to love God and our Neighbors through thoughtful reading, discussion, and sharing.  We watch a short DVD representing many dimensions of the Christian faith in order to stimulate our thinking and broaden our perspectives.  We encourage questioning and different opinions, believing an open mind is important to living the Christian life.  We are studying Called to Follow Christ, by Adam Hamilton.

Christians are invited to be in the world but not of the world.  In this class, we will watch and discuss a selection of movies in light of Scripture passages.  We will seek application for our daily lies as we examine what movies can reveal about how we can be God’s light to the world.

Book Club

This is an opportunity to read a variety of books, then meet to discuss them while having fun with fellow readers. All are welcome and you do not need to attend every month.
